DoD Classic Rückblick auf alte Maps
DoD_Avalanche - Everything has been going rather well the last week. More maps have been coming in and are looking VERY well. Thanks to all that have been submitting. We are playtesting maps right and working any bugs they might have. Todays map of the day is a snow town based map. Wazz has a nice smaller layout here with some very interesting areas.
DoD_Caen - MikeZilla is also back around and has released a new WAD file for Day of Defeat that includes some nice beachfront textures as well as stones and some buildings. Mappers can grab that here. Todays map being showcased is the latest version of DoD_Caen featuring some of MikeZilla's textures. Helvan has done a fantastic job re-creating a realistic destroyed city. It has some great hiding spaces as well as some open fighting areas. The architecture on this map is outstanding and has some very fun gameplay.
DoD_Bridge - We have some really good news, after some time searching, we have found a player animator. Id like to welcome Tomba to our staff. He will be doing our player animations for Beta 1.0 which puts us in an excellent possition. Expect some nice avi's soon. Todays map being showcased is a brand new one created in a joint effort by Euro*Brew, DaNose, and c0w80y. DoD_Bridge is a another great town map with some great architecture work. Its r_speeds average around 400 at the moment. It will be a lovely control the territory objective map and will be included with Beta 1.0.
